Dick Whittington
The 1960 pantomime was Dick Whittington. The role of Dick Whittington’s cat was played by “Candy Cat”, a marionette who appeared regularly in the children’s show. Very few details survive about this production. Denzil Howson later claimed that budget restrictions limited this production to half an hour.
